Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Governor of the
Makkah Region, the 19th edition of the “Made by My Hand” Exhibition for Small
Projects was inaugurated by Professor Hana bint Abdullah Al-Naeem, Vice President
of King Abdulaziz University (Female Campus), on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

The exhibition is part of the university’s ongoing commitment to supporting innovative
student initiatives and promoting cultural and intellectual engagement. This year’s
edition drew broad participation, with a wide range of projects and contributions from
universities across the Kingdom.

More than 130 student projects, carefully selected to reflect diverse creative and
entrepreneurial ideas, are featured across 12 categories, including nutrition, fashion,
accessories, home goods, gifts, printed materials, photography, educational games,
recycling, and other innovation-driven fields.

The diversity of projects highlights the depth of student creativity and talent. Rather
than focusing on a single discipline, the exhibition serves as a comprehensive
platform that embraces a wide array of skills and interests.

The event also provides students with hands-on entrepreneurial experience,
engaging directly with the public, marketing their products, building brand identity,
and developing essential business skills such as presentation, communication, and
pricing.

“Made by My Hand” stands as one of the university’s most prominent annual events
dedicated to empowering aspiring small business owners. It represents the final
stage of the university’s Small Project Licensing Program, which includes a series of
training courses, project evaluations, and development phases designed to equip
students with the skills and experience needed to succeed in today’s competitive job
market.
